Swimming Classes For Kids

The Mini Squad Program is for children who have graduated from our Learn to Swim Program and have therefore mastered the basic skills of swimming in all four strokes.

The program has three levels (Red, Black & Blue) and runs in our 15M pool. Children progress from competently swimming all four strokes including 30M freestyle in less than 45 secs through to endurance freestyle over 30M in less than 30 sec together with competent breastroke kick, backstroke, butterfly, somersault turn and a racing dive.

Children progress from Mini Squads through to Junior Squads.

Monday – Friday: 7:15am – 8:30am*
Monday – Friday: 3:30pm – 6:00pm
Saturday: 7:00am – 11:30am
Sunday: 8:00am – 9:00am

Red 15m of each stroke working towards technically 

Freestyle 30m between 40-45secs

Black 30m of each stroke technically sound

*If you currently swim in the Top or Middle Pool before school, your breakfast is included with your swim. Breakfast is two thick slices of raisin toast or plain toast (toaster provided). The hardest part is deciding!

Program

Stroke Development

(Nominal Age Range 7 years – 16 years)
The Stroke Development Program is for children who have graduated from our Learn to Swim Program and have mastered the basic skills of swimming. This program commences in our 15M pool and then as children progress they move to our 25M squad pool.
Monday – Friday: 7:30am – 8:15am*
Monday – Friday: 3:30pm – 6:30pm
Saturday: 7:30am – 12:30pm
30 – 45 mins

Cap & goggles

* If you currently swim in the Top or Middle Pool before school, your breakfast is included with your swim. Breakfast is a choice of a selection of cereal, or two thick slices of raisin toast (toaster provided). The hardest part is deciding!

All Learn to Swim and Stroke Development classes require an assessment for new swimmers or for swimmers who have had a break and didn’t attend classes in the previous School Term.
