Meet Our Head Coach
Originally from Brazil, Guil moved to Australia in 2011 with a lifelong passion for swimming and sports. After years of competitive experience in the water, he turned that passion into a career, coaching swimmers at every level, from beginners to national competitors.
He has coached at North Sydney Olympic Pool and other clubs across Sydney, and since 2021 has proudly called Terrey Hills Swim School home.
Guil brings not only technical expertise but also energy and heart to the pool deck. Whether he’s timing sprints, calling starts, or cheering swimmers on, his goal is simple:
“To help every swimmer grow in skill, confidence, and love for the sport.”
You’ll often find him by the pool with a stopwatch in one hand, a whistle in the other, and a cup of tea never far away.
